Abstract:   (8680 Views)
Contract regarding broadcasting of sport events is an agreement between a sport club and/or sport organizer for transfer of the right of live broadcasting of that event to the Radio–TV organization. The consideration for this contract is money or other economic advantages for the club or the organizing body.  On the one hand, in the developing countries, the Radio–TV organization is belonging to the state, and some of the sport events have cultural and social importance for public and must be broadcasted by the public (national) media, on the other. In this paper, after a comparative survey on the concept, nature and background of broadcasting of sport events, we propose approaches to the Iranian National Radio–TV Organization. The recognition of the broadcasting rights for sport clubs in Iran is proved in this paper.
