Abstract
Blockchain technology, as a secure, decentralized, and peer-to-peer system, provides a suitable infrastructure for the storage and protection of trade secrets. With technological advancement, the accelerated transfer of information, and increased employee mobility between companies, traditional instruments such as non-disclosure agreements and notarized undertakings no longer offer the necessary effectiveness to prevent the disclosure of confidential information. This development has not only increased the incidence of trade secret misappropriation, but has also created a serious challenge in proving ownership and the legal conditions governing these assets. This article examines the capabilities of blockchain in protecting trade secrets and its admissibility as electronic evidence in certain courts. The research findings indicate that blockchain, through immutable and distributed record-keeping, offers an effective solution for the management of trade secrets in the digital age.
